What is BADAJ?
The Inter-American Children’s Institute (IIN) has became a thematic reference, a focal point and a excellence in technical assistance services provides to the OAS Member States. One of the areas with a historic patrimony worthy to be mentioned is the Legal Area. The IIN, through this specialized services has been a relevant actor in the debates for new Inter-American, United Nations Universal System and Hague Conference on International Private Law rules.
Due to this tradition, the cumulation of information treasured by the IIN could be considered one of the most complete of the Hemisphere. The Legal Database (BADAJ) contains the International Law of the various universal human being protection system such as the Inter-American, and the national specialized laws of the OAS Member States.
